Anywhere Taxi Service has run Dehradun's roads since 2010. If you drive well, know the hills and treat passengers the way you would want your family treated, we would like to hear from you.
In short: we take on drivers with a valid commercial licence and real hill-road experience, both those with their own car and those who will drive ours. Send your name, licence details, experience and your car (if you have one) on WhatsApp to 7830211223 and we call back.
What we look for
- A valid commercial driving licence and badge, with the papers in order
- At least three years of driving, with hill-road experience — Mussoorie, Rishikesh-Badrinath, the Kumaon roads
- Punctuality. Our promise to customers is that the car is at the door at the booked time; that promise is kept by drivers
- A clean, calm manner with passengers: no phone calls while driving, no arguing about routes, no smoking in the car
- Hindi and working English; Garhwali or Punjabi is a plus
- If you bring your own car: a sedan, Ertiga, Innova, Crysta or Tempo Traveller with commercial registration, valid permit, insurance and fitness
What the work is
- Local runs inside Dehradun: hospitals, shopping, sightseeing days
- Jolly Grant Airport pickups and drops, day and night, flight-tracked
- Outstation one-way drops and round trips: Delhi, Chandigarh, Haridwar, Rishikesh, the hill stations
- Multi-day tours: Char Dham, Do Dham, Kumaon lakes, Himachal
- Bookings come to you with the customer's name, number and pickup; you are never sent to guess
How to apply
Send one WhatsApp message to 7830211223 with: your name, where you live in Dehradun, licence number and badge, years of experience, the routes you know best, and — if you have one — your car's model, year and registration. Photos of the licence and RC help. We reply within a working day and call you for a conversation and a short drive.
Questions drivers ask
Do I need my own car to drive with you?
No. We take on drivers for our own fleet as well as owner-drivers with their own commercially registered car.
Which areas of Dehradun do you pick drivers from?
Anywhere in Dehradun. Our base is in Clement Town; drivers from Prem Nagar, Rajpur Road, Sahastradhara, ISBT side and Doiwala all work with us.
Is hill-road experience compulsory?
For outstation and Char Dham work, yes. For local Dehradun and airport runs we can start you on the plains and move you to hill routes as you gain experience with us.
How are payments settled?
That is explained on the call, along with the working arrangement, before you start. Nothing is hidden and nothing is promised on this page that is not kept.
Can I apply if I only want part-time or seasonal work?
Yes. The Char Dham season (May to October) and the wedding months need extra drivers; tell us your availability.
