Taxi Booking FAQ

Straight answers to the questions we get on the phone every day — booking, fares, the airport, the hills, and what happens if plans change.

Booking

Is Anywhere Taxi Service a 24 hours taxi service in Dehradun?

Yes. We run 24 hours a day, every day, including night pickups and drops. Call or WhatsApp 7830211223 at any hour; someone answers, and the fleet is on the road round the clock for airport and railway timings.

How do I book a taxi in Dehradun?

Three ways. Use the booking form on the homepage for an instant fare and online confirmation; call 7830211223; or WhatsApp the same number with your pickup, drop, date and time. You get a confirmation with the vehicle and driver details before the trip.

How far in advance should I book?

A day ahead is plenty for city and airport runs. For Char Dham, Badrinath or Kedarnath in season, and for Tempo Travellers in May, June and October, book a week or more ahead because vehicles fill.

Do you pick up from anywhere in Dehradun?

Yes, any address in Dehradun and the surrounding towns: Clement Town, Rajpur Road, Prem Nagar, Sahastradhara, Dharampur, ISBT, the railway station and Jolly Grant Airport. Searching "taxi service near me" from anywhere in the city will find us.

Fares and payment

How much does a taxi cost in Dehradun?

Local city runs and the 8-hour / 80 km package start from the Dzire sedan rate on the booking page; outstation fares are per route and per vehicle. Search the route on the homepage and every vehicle shows its fare side by side, or see the rate card page for common routes.

Are tolls and parking included in the fare?

No. Tolls, parking, state entry taxes and permit fees are charged at actuals and itemised on the bill. Your driver keeps the receipts, so you pay what the road charged and nothing more.

What is the difference between a one-way drop and a round trip?

A one-way drop is priced as a one-way trip; you pay for the journey out only, plus the vehicle's return tolls. A round trip includes the return and, for multi-day trips, the driver allowance and night halt. On long routes the one-way drop is the bigger saving.

How do I pay?

Online through the booking page, by UPI or bank transfer, or cash to the driver at the end of the trip. Outstation and yatra bookings take an advance to hold the vehicle; the balance is paid on completion.

Are your fares fixed or per kilometre?

Both exist. Popular routes carry a fixed package fare so there are no surprises. Routes without a fixed rate are quoted per kilometre plus driver allowance, and the booking page shows the calculation.

Airport and railway

Do you provide Jolly Grant Airport pickup?

Yes, at all hours. Give us the flight number and we track the landing; the driver waits at the arrivals exit with a name board. Delays cost you nothing. Drops to the airport are timed to your check-in.

Which airport is nearest for Nainital, Corbett or Badrinath?

Jolly Grant, Dehradun, for all three. It is 201 km from Jim Corbett, 270 km from Nainital and the start of the road to Badrinath. We run flight-tracked taxis from the airport to each of them.

Do you pick up from Dehradun railway station and ISBT?

Yes, both, at any hour. Give us the train number and we watch it the same way we watch flights.

Hill routes and Char Dham

Can I book a taxi from Dehradun for the Char Dham Yatra?

Yes. We run one-way drops, round trips and full multi-day circuits to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, with the same driver throughout. Sedans, Innovas and Tempo Travellers up to 20 seats. Book early for May, June and October.

Can a taxi reach Kedarnath or Hemkund Sahib?

No vehicle can. For Kedarnath the road ends at Sonprayag and the temple is a 16 km trek from Gaurikund, or a helicopter from Phata, Sitapur or Guptkashi. For Hemkund Sahib the road ends at Govindghat and it is a 20 km trek via Ghangaria. We drop you at the roadhead and hold the driver for your return date.

Are your drivers experienced on hill roads?

Yes. Drivers on the Char Dham, Mussoorie, Nainital and Shimla routes have driven them repeatedly and know the gate timings, the landslide zones and where to stop. We do not put a plains driver on a hill route.

Do you drive at night on hill roads?

Not on the Char Dham corridor beyond Rishikesh, and not on the Kedarnath and Badrinath sections, which are gate-controlled anyway. We start those trips at 5 or 6 am so the hill sections are done in daylight. Night driving is fine on the expressway to Delhi and on the plains.

Cancellation and changes

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup and 15% of the trip cost is deducted; the rest is refunded to your bank account in 15 to 20 working days. Cancel inside 24 hours and there is no refund. The full rules are on the cancellation policy page.

Can I change the date or time after booking?

Usually yes, free of charge, if you tell us more than 24 hours ahead and a vehicle is available. Route or vehicle changes are re-quoted. Ask before you cancel; a change is often the better answer.

How long will the driver wait if I am late?

Up to 60 minutes from the pickup time if you have not been in touch; after that the booking is a no-show. Waiting charges apply after 30 minutes. A call or message keeps the booking alive for as long as you need.

Not answered here? Call or WhatsApp 7830211223 — 24 hours, every day. For fares, search your route on the booking form; for the full rules, see the cancellation policy and terms.
