Delhi to Jim Corbett Taxi Service

262 km  |  5.5–6.5 hours  |  one-way drop or round trip
Delhi NCR & IGI pickup Drop at your resort NH-9 all the way

Quick answer: Jim Corbett is about 262 km from Delhi and takes 5.5 to 6.5 hours on NH-9 through Hapur, Gajraula and Moradabad, then north from Kashipur to Ramnagar. We pick up anywhere in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida or at IGI Airport, and drop at your resort door or the safari gate for your zone. The Delhi end is the slow part; a 6 am start clears it. Fares depend on vehicle and whether you need a one-way drop or a round trip — the table below is live from our rate desk. Call 7830211223 to confirm.

The road, and where the time goes

It is highway the whole way: NH-9 east out of Delhi through Ghaziabad and Hapur, Gajraula, Moradabad, then the turn north at Kashipur for the last 30 km through the sal forest to Ramnagar. The road is good; the time goes on getting out of Delhi and through Moradabad. Leave at 6 am and you are at the resort for lunch and an afternoon safari.

Corbett's gates are spread along 60 km of the park's edge and the resorts follow them. Bijrani and Garjiya are at Ramnagar; Dhikala and Dhangarhi are 18 km up the Kosi; Jhirna and Dhela are south toward Kaladhungi; Sitabani is east. Give us the resort name and we drop at the door, not at the bus stand.

The road

  • Delhi → Hapur — the slow first hour
  • Gajraula → Moradabad (170 km) — breakfast at Gajraula
  • Kashipur (230 km) — the turn north
  • Ramnagar (262 km) — the last 30 km through sal forest

Zones and resorts

  • Bijrani, Garjiya — at Ramnagar
  • Dhikala, Dhangarhi — 18 km north on the Kosi road
  • Jhirna, Dhela — south toward Kaladhungi
  • Sitabani — east, open all year

How people plan it

  • 6 am pickup, resort by lunch, evening safari
  • Two nights, then back to Delhi or on to Nainital
  • IGI Airport pickup straight to the park for visitors flying in
  • Safaris in the park's own gypsies, booked on the portal

Vehicle advice

  • Innova or Crysta for a family with bags
  • Sedan for two
  • Tempo Traveller for groups
  • All vehicles toll-tagged; tolls at actuals

Season

The main zones open mid-November to mid-June; Jhirna, Dhela and Sitabani stay open through the monsoon. November to February is the pleasant time; April to June is hot but best for sightings. Dhikala sells out weeks ahead — book safaris first, then the taxi.

Fog on NH-9 in December and January adds an hour; we start earlier rather than drive faster. There is no hill road, so late departures are fine outside the fog months.
